ABOUT
Department of Electronics intends to impart quality degree programmes. These programmesemphasize on fundamental principles to create technological excellence and exceptional ability inthe students and to inculcate in them professional, social and ethical values. The undergraduateprogramme of the department is twice accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), NewDelhi.

The department is running Six undergraduate programme – B.Tech. Electronics andCommunication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Instrumentation andControl, Electronics and Communication Engineering with Specialization in Internet ofThings(IoT) and Avionics, & four post graduate programme – M. Tech. in DigitalCommunication, Digital Instrumentation, Embedded System, and Virtual Instrumentation and Ph.Dprogramme under faculty of Electronics Engineering.

Department is equipped with modern and sophisticated laboratories and is served by qualified andexperienced faculty members. Several faculty members are pursuing higher qualifications, such asPh.D from reputed institutions like IIT’s, NIT’s, top B-Schools and foreign universities. Most ofthe students are placed in national and multinational companies and organizations of repute. Resultof students has been very good all through.

Program Educational Objectives

1. To develop the ability among students to understand the concepts of applied mathematics,science, electronics & communication engineering with an attitude for lifelong learning.

2. To train the students with good scientific and engineering breadth, for analyzing, designingand synthesizing system for real life problems.

3. To inculcate in student communication skills, professional skills, team work skills and leadership qualities, which addresses issues related to society in a responsive, ethical, andinnovative manner.

Program Outcomes

1. Apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Electronics engineering.

2. To inculcade among student an ability to design electronics circuits and conductexperiments with electronic systems, analyze and interpret data.
