Dr. Namit Gupta

Coordinator Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research

Dr. Namit Gupta Coordinator Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore and also Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Director of Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology & Science and Dean - Faculty of Engineering & Architecture. His areas of research are Quantum Computing, Embedded System, Spintronics, 5G Communication System etc. Dr. Gupta has done his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication and M.Tech in Embedded System from DAVV Indore. He has done his Ph.D in Quantum Cellular Automata based design from DAVV Indore. He has published and presented more than 50 research papers in various National and International Journals and Conferences. Dr. Namit Gupta was visited St.Cloud State University, Minnesota USA as an exchange faculty under faculty exchange program. He was there for 3-weeks and has taken special sessions on Embedded Systems, IoT, Artificial Intelligence and its applications for the Master’s degree students of SCSU.

He has been awarded one patent in his name. Many research scholars have been awarded Ph.D degree under her supervision.

Every Institution of Higher Learning has to develop institutional research agenda and formulate policies to nurture quality research culture. Research, at the University, has not to be just a philosophy but the very essence of all its academic endeavors. The success of a University is greatly contingent upon the research orientation of the faculty. In order to contribute to the society and provide solutions to the challenging problems, the research at the University has to focus on creation of new knowledge and its applications. The faculties as well as students of the University need to actively get involved in socially relevant research. In order to encourage research within the University and to build a research culture for knowledge generation, the University under Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research (FDSR) has made provisions to establish minimum standards for research activities to build research capacity and mentor researchers. We are optimistic that during the coming years FDSR will reach the noticeable heights with full cooperation from professional colleagues, academicians and research scholars at large in its endeavor to be the Institution of Excellence.
