Shri Vaishnav Institute of Commerce (SVIC) was established in 2018 with a view to promote excellence in commerce education and to prepare future professionals to meet the challenges of the business and corporate world. SVIC is committed to quality education as first priority, through academic rigor, designed in line with contemporary needs. Along with academic endeavour, institute-industry interface is also promoted. Guest lecturers is a regular feature and overall personality development of the students is the foremost priority of SVIC. Consistent efforts are made for bringing in refinement in everything that concerns the Institution. The institute not only concentrates on the academic excellence of its students but also promotes co-curricular activities. Faculty has a mix of academics and industrial experience for providing practical exposure to the students. All students have the unique opportunity to benefit from several value-added professional learning opportunities and widen their horizons beyond academics through the institute’s collaboration with reputed organisations such as ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.

The Institute offers Bachelor of Commerce programmes in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Computer Application, Corporate Secretarial Practices, Entrepreneurship, and Tax Procedure, each of 3 years duration with an option of obtaining an honours in each by undergoing 4 th year of study. SVIC also offers M.Com in Financial Risk Management, besides a plain M.Com. The academic curricula are designed in line with National Education Policy, 2020 guidelines to promote multi-disciplinary and practice-based education. The institute has designed its curriculum in such a way as to foster leadership qualities, critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
