Shri Vaishnav Institute of Commerce (SVIC) was established in 2018 with a view to promote excellence in commerce education and to prepare future professionals to meet the challenges of the business and corporate world. SVIC is committed to quality education as first priority, through academic rigor, designed in line with contemporary needs. Along with academic endeavour, institute-industry interface is also promoted. Guest lecturers is a regular feature and overall personality development of the students is the foremost priority of SVIC. Consistent efforts are made for bringing in refinement in everything that concerns the Institution. The institute not only concentrates on the academic excellence of its students but also promotes co-curricular activities. Faculty has a mix of academics and industrial experience for providing practical exposure to the students. All students have the unique opportunity to enhance their professional competencies beyond the classroom through collaborations with reputed organizations such as the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Tally Education Pvt. Ltd., and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.

The Institute offers Bachelor of Commerce programs in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Entrepreneurship, and Tax Procedure. Each program is of three years' duration, with an option to pursue an additional fourth year leading to the award of an Honours degree in accordance with the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The Institute also offers the Master of Commerce (M.Com.) program.

The academic curricula are designed in alignment with the NEP 2020 framework, fostering multidisciplinary, skill-based, and experiential learning. The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to develop leadership acumen, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and professional competencies, thereby equipping students to excel in a dynamic and globally interconnected business environment.
