Shri Vaishnav Institute of Fine Arts, Indore, Madhya Pradesh has been established with the vision of imparting world class Fine art education encompassing practical as well as theoretical excellence and knowledge. At SVIFA, learning is not restricted to classrooms. Under the expert guidance of faculties, learning and skill development is imparted in highly specialized and well-equipped laboratories and studios. Creativity of students is enhanced by inspiring students to create their own artworks that are installed in the university campus. Additionally, SVIFA organizes annual exhibition to give platform to the students for showing their creative works. Frequent skill- enhancing seminars and workshops are organized in campus for exposure and development of the students.

With a vision of unparalleled development in Fine Arts, SVIFA has created a comprehensive syllabus encompassing technologically driven optimism and set to establish excellence in the field of Fine Arts in the next 8 to 10 years. With an aim to reduce the gap between profession and education, SVIFA renews its syllabus after every three years which ensures that the students remain updated with latest developments in the field of fine arts.

The Institute of Fine Arts at SVVV is truly unique in concept as well as in execution. The undergraduate program at SVIFA allows the students to learn, creating plural views and interests. Here, practicing experts and academicians work together to educate the budding artists of SVIFA.

Our goal as an institute is not only to create unparalleled fine artists, but also to find avenues to transform the profession of fine art to meet future challenges.

An educational institute is not just about bricks, mortar and concrete but about building character ,enriching minds and about enriching experiences that lasts a lifetime. Life is not a set of instructions but is a series of experiences and learning process.

This is where Shri Vaishnav Institute of Architecture, SVVV, steps in to make a difference where learning is not just a series of instructions but a passion which goes beyond books, beyond instructions, beyond learning horizons clearing all the hurdles and obstacles in the path. We also engage in supporting the students to refine necessary skills, attitudes, curricular and extracurricular activities so as to create efficient, capable and sensitive architects and designers.

As architecture involves coordination of more than hundred agencies of construction activity, we try to explore all possible facades of architecture for our students. We have ensured to cover need of architecture profession in our dynamically designed syllabus which will be updated every three years to cater the changes and upgradation in the profession.

Pedagogy

Shri Vaishnav Institute of Fine Arts boasts of a strong team of academicians as well as professional fine artists. This ensures that the students gain academic knowledge along with practical skills to set the trend of remarkable and outstanding work in the field of fine arts. Teachers at SVIFA fulfill the role of supporting and mentoring individual students to develop their skills, keep them updated with the developments in the field of fine arts, adapting state of the art material and methods along with extracting values from traditions and transforming them in current context to create cutting edge art works.

Our team of knowledgeable, enthusiastic and dedicated faculty work collaboratively to educate and develop the students of SVIFA . The teaching pedagogy of SVIFA is highly intelligible and facile. Teachers and experts at SVIFA foster individual creativity, interests and abilities of its students. This provides numerous opportunities to the students to ensure their overall development. Study visits, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, out of the classroom learning and learning through experience are part of student’s life as budding fine artists for overall exposure required in fine arts which is always encouraged at SVIFA .

The teaching program at SVIFA focuses on imparting a thorough understanding and implementation of academics in profession. Teachers encourage new ideas and focus on developing an innovative approach towards fine arts in the students.
